Are you struggling to work more innovatively? Do you like the idea of export, but don’t know where to start?
If this sounds like you, then why not spend a few valuable hours at our free workshop in York, providing practical innovation tools and an introduction to exporting. There will be great networking opportunities amongst like-minded businesses over coffee and cake, and two interactive sessions around a) how to be more innovative in your business approach and b) how to get your business ready to export.
Led by Heather Niven from SCY, the first session will look at ways to make your company more robust when faced with unexpected change, how to prepare your company for collaborative working both here and overseas, how to encourage idea generation and development from within and out-with the company to be continually innovating and responding to your environment.
Following on from this, the UKTI’s sector specialist, Simon Bedford, will run an interactive session to answer the question are you ready to export? We will stimulate discussion and work on some interesting exercises together to help the decision process and crystalize your thinking. This workshop will be a chance to find out about the benefits of exporting, and will offer an opportunity to examine key questions and deal with any concerns you might have about trading internationally in today’s economic climate.
This session is provided by UKTI, SCY and City of York Council and is open to all interested businesses who wish to attend regardless of size, age or company type.
There is no charge to attend* but places are limited so booking is essential.
